Booking and Cancellation Policy

At Calgary Movers Pro, we aim to make your moving experience as seamless and stress-free as possible. To ensure clarity and transparency, we have outlined our booking and cancellation policies below. Please review these policies carefully before booking your move with us. 

Booking Policy 

  1. Scheduling Your Move
    • Initial Consultation: Contact us via phone, email, or our online booking form to schedule an initial consultation. During this consultation, we will assess your moving needs and provide a customized quote. 
    • Confirmation: Once you agree to the quote, we will confirm the booking. You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your move, including date,  time, and any special instructions. 
  2. Deposit: 
    • Deposit Requirement: A deposit may be required to secure your moving date.  The deposit amount will be communicated during the booking process. 
    • Payment: Deposits can be paid via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. The deposit will be applied to your final bill. 
  3. Final Payment: 
    • Due Date: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the move. For long distance or large commercial moves, partial payments may be required at various stages. 
    • Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, debit card, Square, and bank transfer. 

Cancellation Policy 

  1. Notice Period: 
    • 48-Hour Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. This allows us to adjust our schedule and offer your slot to another customer. 
  2. Cancellation Fees: 
    • Within 48 Hours: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled move date may incur a cancellation fee. The fee amount will be based on the resources allocated and any potential losses incurred by Calgary Movers Pro. 
    • No-Show: If our team arrives on the scheduled move date and you are not present or reachable, a no-show fee equivalent to the deposit amount will be charged. 
  3. Refunds:
    • Deposit Refund: Deposits are generally non-refundable unless the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move date. In such cases, the deposit may be refunded or applied to a rescheduled date. 
    • Service Refund: Refunds for services not rendered due to cancellations will be processed within 5-7 business days. Please contact our customer service team for assistance with refund requests. 
  4. Rescheduling: 
    • Flexible Rescheduling: We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule your move, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred date and time. 

Exceptions and Special Cases 

  1. Force Majeure: 
    • Unforeseen Circumstances: In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, severe weather conditions, or other events beyond our control, Calgary Movers Pro reserves the right to reschedule the move without penalty. We will communicate any changes as soon as possible. 
  2. Customer Requests: 
    • Special Accommodations: If you have any special requests or need accommodations for unique circumstances, please inform us during the booking process. We will work with you to find a suitable solution.
